Model 7094D 4" I.D. Steering Cylinder
The 7094D cylinder is designed for the boat owner
who demands the utmost in performance and
reliability.
The castings are all made in silicon bronze. The
steel barrel is micro-honed. Piston rod and tie rods
are made of stainless steel. The spherical bearings
on either end are extra large and should never
require replacement. The piston seals are of
urethane material.
Upon special request, the cylinder can be equipped
with metal piston rings. The piston rod seal is “V”
packing seal and is provided with an adjusting nut
for precise stroke and over-travel limiter.
Since these cylinders are only available in an
unbalanced configuration, tandem cylinders are
required for all installations.
