The 7096 cylinder is designed for the boat owner who
requires the utmost in performance and reliability. The castings are all made
in manganese bronze. The steel barrel is microhoned. Tie rods and piston rod
are made of stainless steel. Te spherical bearings on either end are extra
large and should never require replacement. The piston seals are urethane. Upon
special request the cylinder can be equipped with metal piston rings. The piston
rod seals are "V" packing and have an adjusting nut.
Since these cylinders are only available in an unbalanced
configuration, tandem cylinders are required for all installations.
