Electronics
The Mighty Mariner was unleashed in 2002. In 2004, it was enhanced with many new abilities:
- Works with electronic interfaces on Engines and Clutches.
- Monitors control communication (e.g. broken wires)
- The Walk-about control 7176 can be used with this system.
- Water tight control heads are available.
- Adjustable synchronizer behaviour.
- Adjustable delays and boosts: neutral delay, throttle delay, throttle boost.
- Easier installation and troubleshooting. Initial setup doesnt require extra equipment (such as a laptop).
A small, illuminated control head (model 6501) will be available in the Fall.
It is small enough to be installed in the arm-rest of the captains chair.
