Connecting Two Stations In Parallel

Connecting Two Stations In Series

Each cable has a little lost motion ("free play") before the cable is moved at the other end. In this connection, there are two cables hooked in series. The second station will have more lost motion because it's cable to cable: Twice the lost motion of one cable.
