Kobelt's 5 Year Limited Warranty
When was the last time you got a 5 year warranty
without paying extra?
Most Kobelt equipment comes with a conditional 5-year warranty that is
the best in the industry. Strict quality control manufacturing and
sturdy corrosion-resistant materials ensure trouble-free service
above and beyond this generous warranty period.
Due to the nature of the Marine environment,
our electronics carries a full 2 year warranty. All the Bronze and Stainless Steel components carry a 5-year warranty, and typically
last 20 years or more.

Warranty Details
Kobelt Manufacturing, hereafter referred to as the Seller, warrants the equipment manufactured by it to be free from defects in workmanship and material.
Also, that the same is designed mechanically and functionally to perform to the specifications.
This warranty is effective providing:
• the equipment is used within the operating conditions and in accordance with the Seller’s recommendations,
• the equipment was installed according to equipment diagrams, specifications and recommendations which the Seller may have supplied,
• immediate notification in writing is given to the Seller.
This warranty becomes invalid if the factory-supplied serial number has been removed or altered on the product.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or modification of any part of the product.
This warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance, connection to improper equipment, or attempted repair by anyone other than KOBELT or its authorized agents.
If any item is found to be defective, the Seller will replace such part FOB the Seller’s factory provided:
• any such part is returned by the Buyer freight and all other forwarding charges prepaid.
The Warranty does not cover labor, travel, or other expenses.
The Seller's liability under this warranty is limited only to the original value of the equipment sold by the Seller.
Warranty Period
For purposes of this Warranty, the warranty period shall be defined as five (5) years on all metal control and steering components,
two (2) years for electronics, and one (1) year on all disc brakes and other brake products with the exception of brake lining for which there is no warranty.
The warranty period for products from another manufacturer, components or in whole,
will not exceed the terms or conditions under which their warranty was originally extended to Kobelt.
Liability
We believe that we offer the best products in our industry, and that you will get a great value from their use.
IN NO EVENT SHALL KOBELT’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT FROM DIRECT,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT,
ITS ACCOMPANYING SOFTWARE, OR ITS DOCUMENTATION.
KOBELT makes no warranty or representation, expressed, implied, or statutory, with respect to its products, contents or use of this documentation and all accompanying software, and especially disclaims its quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for any non-conforming purpose. KOBELT reserves the right to revise or update its product, software or documentation without notice. We will endeavor to keep people informed through our normal channels.
