Kobelt’s Next Generation Digital Steering System

Kobelt’s digital steering system offers a highly configurable steering platform that can accommodate a wide spectrum of steering applications. The core components of the system include the Digital Steering Controller, The Digital Steering Station and the Electronic Helm. These Class Approved components take steer-by-wire controls to a new level with scalable redundancy for mission critical applications.

The Kobelt system is capable of accomodating up to 6 network connected helm stations with single or dual independent proportional rudder control. Employing continuous fault monitoring of connected devices, the 6301-0100 electronic helm also enables programable tactile feedback for the operator. In addition, the digital system is very easy to install and commission due to reduced cabling requirements and an intuitive configuration interface.
