The 7065-SB steering cylinder provides power assisted steering that is piloted by a conventional helm pump (see 7005 or 7012). It features a servo valve that accurately relays helm pump commands to the steering cylinder. Designed in a balanced configuration, it provides consistent performance in both the starboard and port directions.
The 7065-S has the following stroke and displacement ranges, assuming a single cylinder at 1,200 PSI [82.8 bar] at a 35 degree rudder angle & 45 degree rudder angle.
